LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR - This rhyme was written by me in 1993, - 18 years ago - and it is dedicated to my Medico Friends from Thrissur and Calicut Medical Colleges during 1985-1991 and to all other friends and others, if you like it.. I developed this rhyme while I was referring an interesting article in 'Electronics For You' magazine, which described about a software that is capable of developing simple rhymes from a database of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions etc, but eventually I ended up writing an actual manuscript rhyme - LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR - rather than going for further explorations with the software..
Here is the Rhyme..
LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR
There lived once a lady doctor
Married to a Lazy Tutor
Caring Sicks there traveled doctorCuring ills there, drives she back home
Tracing three chicks, following them,
Chasing them all tutor once
Returned home with swollen cheeks
Blaming them and cursing them
That day for the first time had the
Doctor treated tutor too
Just a single booster fist dose
Since then tutor crazy no more..!

ReplyDeleteU have used a different style here.
Eventhough, I felt, the lyrics vary from the nature
of poetry, ur try for an innovative idea can be seen. [A doubt - in the beginning the tutor is "Lazy"; at last mentioned his "Crazy" has gone! Is it intentionally interchanged by Poet?]

Hi Jacob, yeah the 'crazy' has been intentionally used.. Here the craziness refers to his flirty nature going behind the pretty gals, even though he was married... Either the girls were irritated by his advances and handled him mercilessly with their hands or they were too aggressively romantic leaving behind their lipstick tattooed love bites on his cheeks, which eventually got swollen.. Even I myself don't know what really happened to him.. he he.. lol. Any way, the wife somehow came to know about his extramarital flirty advances, may be after inquiring about his altered cheek appearance - or the gals themselves complained to her... So she also 'handled' him once he came home... All those instances made him stop being crazy again... (Also he was earlier a lazy man not going for any jobs, living on doctor wife's income...) (After all this is only a gimmick with a blend of rhyme-like sounding words rather than a poetry with real-life like situations... So some unrealistic funny imaginations...And the example rhymes of the original software related article in the magazine I read, influenced me to some extent to use this structure style, though the theme and words are completely mine..) . Thanks for your response..
