"NANDANE NINAKKAY" - Dedicated to Smt. K. S. Chithra

This poem written by me is dedicated to the eminent play back singer, Smt. K.S. Chithra as an ELEGY. As we all know, she has lost her daughter, NANDANA, who was accidentally drowned in a swimming pool, abroad. Definitely, ELEGIES or poems like this wont relieve the pain, but here is a humble dedication with some words, or rather emotions emanated from the heart in the form of a poem.. Let us all share her sorrow and pain, and pray for her peace and future successful endeavors, be it in music or on anything else .. 

I dedicate this humble poem to you dear sister..

My wife Reena's cousin's son, while as a small kid years ago, was also drowned accidentally in a small concrete tank near her house.

On another occasion, I really felt the pain, when our dear  'PANDI POOCHA' was drowned in a neighborhood well, just a few days before the house warming ceremony of our newly built home, where he was also supposed to be a member. This affectionate cat that came to us 3 years ago, was recently found  missing for some days, and later our neighbor told that one dog-like big cat was found lying dead in their well. She was not aware that it was our cat. She had to purify the well and get it cleared to drink the water again... but the pain of its loss still persists in my mind, (and my wife's too), uncleared.

Let me share the pains of all those who have lost someone so dear at some point of time...

"LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR" - Rhyme for Medico Friends..

LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR - This rhyme was written by me in 1993,  - 18 years ago - and it is dedicated to my Medico Friends from Thrissur and  Calicut Medical Colleges during 1985-1991 and to all other friends and others, if you like it.. I developed this rhyme while I was referring an interesting article in 'Electronics For You' magazine, which described about a software that is capable of developing simple rhymes from a database of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions etc, but eventually I ended up writing an actual manuscript rhyme - LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR - rather than going for further explorations with the software..

Here is the Rhyme..

LADY DOCTOR'S CRAZY TUTOR 

There lived once a lady doctor

Married to a Lazy Tutor

Caring Sicks there traveled doctor

Curing ills there, drives she back home

      Tracing three chicks, following them,

      Chasing them all tutor once

      Returned home with swollen cheeks

      Blaming them and cursing them

That day for the first time had the

Doctor treated tutor too

Just a single booster fist dose

Since then tutor crazy no more..!
